Foyles Poetry competition for kids

When I went to the screening @LADYLUCKmovie I met Lizzie Blake Thomas and her daughter Isabella..

Lizzie has a new website called    Boo Bods is a new Children’s Charity. Its aim is to encourage creativity in all kids, breaching the gap between them and the work place.  It has lots of information and I found details of this poetry competition for kids on there.  I have sent mine in.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s competition will have acclaimed judges Hannah Lowe and David Morley at the helm. It is once again on the search for exciting new young poets aged 11-17. So what are you waiting for, take the chance and enter your poem!  Take a look at the full rules and information on the prizes and opportunities.

Deadline for Entries is the 31st July 2013  Enter on line or download a postal entry form from the website. 

How to enter:

The competition is free to enter. Individuals may enter more than one poem, however we strongly advise that you concentrate on drafting and redrafting your poems and send only a small selection of your very best (we suggest no more than 6-8 maximum). Remember, quality is more important than quantity! Please read the full rules carefully.





I had a lovely time at the Lady Luck screening and it was great to see everybody again.  Here is a photograph of me with the lovely Director, Jo Lewis, Breakneck Films.  Jo was great to work with and made me feel relaxed and it was all really enjoyable.

THE PHYSICIAN coming out in December

Yay! I am so excited. Here is the latest trailer for the feature film ‘The Physician’ which is due to come out in December.  It is an epic tale and I play Rob Cole as a child and Tom Payne plays him as an adult. I can’t wait!
