THE MISSING – BBC 1 DRAMA UP FOR FOUR BAFTAS

I am delighted to say that I have just received an email saying that ‘THE MISSING’ has been nominated for FOUR BAFTA AWARDS. The categories are:- Leading actor – James Nesbitt Supporting actor – Ken Stott Mini-series Radio Times audience award (voted for by members of the public) It was brilliant to be able to play opposite James Nesbitt and he was great.  I wish he gets the ‘Best Actor’ BAFTA. My fingers will be crossed. Congratulations to the whole team.

A new drama is due to transmit with episode 1 going out on the 27th April at 18.00 hrs. A tale of wizards, dragons and magic by Ursula Le Guin. A Wizard of Earthsea is a young-adult fantasy novel written by the American author Ursula K. Le Guin, first published by the small press Parnassus in 1968 The radio adaptation by Judith Adams was directed by Sasha Yevtushenco. I am away on holiday for a few days and I got an email asking me do a skype interview for the   Julien Dubuque International Film Festival in Iowa, for the very successful film ‘ Lady Luck’, directed by    Jo Lewis.   Unfortunately, the skype connection was awful.  Luckily mum had brought the camera and her lap top so we were able to provide a self tape instead. Wishing the Lady Luck team very best wishes and fingers crossed for another award.
